Monsanto, which is based in St. Louis and is the only commercial manufacturer of the hormone, declined to provide sales numbers.Yea, right.
In my opinion, this is an example of how powerful consumer activism can be.
The question now is, what's going to happen to the business? What markets will be created for the hormone and what developing nations will be enrolled with the promise of future profit? How can we assure the people of those nations receive the same opportunity for informed choice that we in the U.S. have had to fight for?
